About Us

Since 1989

Gary Little Construction was established in 1989 by Gary & Debbie Little, and became Gary Little Construction, Inc., when we incorporated in 1995. Gary Little Construction, Inc. is a General Contractor specializing in both commercial and industrial work. We self perform concrete foundations, metal stud framing and drywall. A large percentage of our projects have been for Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Six Flags Magic Mountain. Our work for these companies range from various maintenance projects to major construction projects.

Personnel

Karina Thompson, President

Karina received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of California, Irvine in 1996. She began her career in the construction field in 1997 and then moved over to the insurance field. Karina quickly moved up to the role of Supervisor. Karina and Michael started a family in 2004 and Karina worked part time in the insurance field through 2008 while raising two young daughters. In 2008 she decided it was best to be a stay at home Mom for a few years. In 2012 Karina began administrative duties for Gary Little Construction and in 2020 became the President of Gary Little Construction, Inc. Her years of administrative experience are instrumental in the success of our company.

Michael Thompson, Vice President

Michael began working for Gary Little Construction in 1991. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from California Lutheran University in 1994. He started out at the bottom, working his way from laborer to carpenter to foreman/superintendent and then to project manager/estimator in 1999. Michael became CFO of the company in 2004 and became Vice President in 2020. Over the last 30 years Michael has been directly involved in all aspects of the company including field supervision, project management, estimating, scheduling, operations and planning. He prides himself on being a builder and providing a quality product at a fair price. Michael understands it is not a right to work for our clients but a privilege. He wants to carry on the tradition of the family business and make sure every job is built with pride.

Michael Bernards, CFO

Michael began working for Gary Little Construction, Inc. in 2014. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Long Beach State in 2002. He previously worked for his family business Bernards from 1997-2014. Michael has been a great asset to the company and is involved in project management, estimating and scheduling of our projects. Michael became CFO of Gary Little Construction, Inc. in 2020.
